One of the most popular ingredients in Game Day food is… Buffalo Sauce! It’s like the ultimate Game Day flavor combo. I don’t know about you but when I think about Game Day, the first food I think about is buffalo wings and buffalo chicken dip. The buffalo flavor is such a unique tangy blend of a vinegar base with a mix of spices like cayenne and garlic powder. The second most popular condiment – Ranch! Nothing beats the combo of saucy buffalo coated wings dipped in ranch. It’s such a delicious combo that there is no reason for vegetarians to be missing out! One of my favorite ways to combine Buffalo Sauce and Ranch is in my Crispy Buffalo Potato Wedges.
Potatoes and Buffalo Sauce go hand-in-hand to create a beautiful medley of colorful flavor. Last year, I made these Buffalo Ranch Potatoes for the first time and it was a major success. The irresistible crunch of the potatoes matched with tart buffalo sauce and creamy ranch make for the perfect Game Day treat! This recipe is also incredibly easy to make. I recommend it for everyone, even beginners who haven’t had any experience. The recipe is a quick and easy meal to whip up for a Superbowl party especially if you know there will be vegetarians attending.

More often than not, vegetarians are left with limited options at or near Game Day and this would be a great recipe to help include everyone in the fun! If you’re not sure what to take to a Game Day party, here’s a quick and easy solution. It is perfect for Game Day, but it can also be whipped up for a movie night or study snack. Spicy, tasty, easy to make, crispy, and creamy. What’s not to love about it!
What kind of potatoes to use?

The best potatoes to use for this recipe are baby potatoes. They roast faster than normal-sized potatoes. One of my favorite brands to use for this recipe is The Little Potato Company. You can find this product at Costco, Walmart, or another local grocery store that carries mainstream brands. If cannot find this specific brand, do not stress out about it. I just prefer them and would recommend you use them if you do find them as they help take the recipe up a notch.
Can I swap ingredients?
One of my favorite things about this recipe is that the potatoes can be swapped with tofu, paneer, or even cauliflower. Feel free to adapt the recipe to fit your personal preferences! If you’re looking for a low carb option, try out cauliflower. Or if you’re vegan, use vegan ranch and oil instead! Experiment with it and see what you like.

My Favorites
If you go to the condiments aisle at Walmart, there are So many options for Buffalo Sauce and Ranch, Of the Buffalo Sauces, I personally prefer the Franks Hot Buffalo Sauce. It’s a zero calorie option and I find it to have a tangy kick. For the ranch, I personally love the Bolthouse Ranch, which is a yogurt based ranch that is 45 calories for 2 tbsp.
